Prices are up and salary still the same.

How can I afford groceries and save face?

Cut your nose to spite your face please take me away from this economic disgrace.

Pretty words on the tv screen end up being just smoking mirrors.

How can the economy be thriving when so many people are shoplifting?

No matter how you skew the numbers the numbers don’t lie politicians do.

Worst of all no solutions are ever brought up.

While everyone is starving our so called leaders are just carving.

Symbols and rhetoric won’t bring food on the table.

Get your head out of the sand and stop making mud slinging politics a staple.

Absolutely no sense of urgency.

If the people’s plight was anything like January 6th maybe these politicians will treat the matter like a state of emergency.

Never mind that because our POTUS is absent minded like a student committing truancy.

Hopefully the struggle will be a part of the past eventually.
