Make Believe

Sometimes I wish I could pay the bills with creativity.

Gravity is no match for this depravity.

I would give anything for just five minutes of uninterrupted daydreaming.

When did everything get so serious and dull.

Half empty or half full?

All just a bunch of bull.

When you’re enjoying I’m sulking.

When you’re sipping I’m on a downward spiral just tripping.

Just stay positive they say!

I wonder if they ever had a hard time waking up just to start their day?

Sometimes I can make believe.

Other times I just need a release.

Many moons ago I shined.

Now I’m fined left and right.

I wonder if I can finally have a good day and good night?

Trouble brewing.

Let’s go out shooting.

Be careful you don’t lose your footing.

I’m definitely rooting for you.

Try to stay positive my friend.

You are no match for this inevitable end.

Think outside the box and forget the trend.

I lend my hand to my better half.
