Seek and Destroy

Very hard to gain the upper hand.

Even harder to maintain the upper hand.

It takes discipline and above all consistency.

Don’t mind the fact that some individuals will speak out of turn.

In turn speak your mind to air out any professional disagreements.

Getting petty and bent out of shape will only present itself as a disservice.

Whatever you do when you’re right voice your thoughts and never agree to things said that are incorrect in the hopes of playing the office politics game.

On the flip side, when you’re wrong accept it graciously while being mindful not to over apologize.

For every punch you pull the less control of any situation you have.

With that in mind, reflect on every situation with a fresh set of eyes and make sure whatever decision you make is backed by logic.

Whatever you do make sure your emotions don’t become your puppet master.
