Not Easy

Nothing ever seems to be straight forward or logical.

Emotions swing like pendulums.

It’s hard to win with all these emotional tantrums.

You move forward five steps just to be told to go back to start.

I try my best to weather the storm and stay calm.

It’s very hard when they hit you with their figurative warm palm.

No matter what you must stay strong.

It’s not you it’s that their viewpoint is wrong.

Set the trend and flow.

Change their tone and overall glow.

Always try to improve and grow.

Having a road map doesn’t mean you know the terrain.

You must get down and dirty behind the trenches.

Don’t you dare hide behind the benches.

Wear your big boy britches.

Rise above the coal mines and dirty ditches.

Don’t be let down just don’t let yourself down.

High brow and low brow when it’s all said and done you must get the results.
