Overrun

Burn out and completely worn out. Trying to reset but being paused instead. Pace yourself just to go into overdrive. Don’t run and hide. Just stay and confide. Picturesque and pristine. Justice and prudence. Trying not to over exert myself and lose all of my confidence. Over the hills and through the maze what a waste of all of the days. Now cramming to fix all the mess just to come up short. No opportunity to retort. No legacy available to distort.Now all the effort put in is deemed in vain. I was warned but chose not to listen. Now just waiting to fade away. The tick tock of the clock is comforting in a weird sort of way. Once a joy now I’m just bored trying to stir up excitement. Maybe I’ll one day find it. Who knows but for now I’m just preparing to waste away in a cozy sway. Good luck everyone and try not to overrun and pace yourself for a wonderful day.
